This is a stable construction company based in Cheb that has been active on the market for a long time and has completed a number of construction projects. The company carries out projects in the Czech Republic and also has its own GmbH in Germany, through which it grows its presence on the German market. In Germany, it focuses mainly on: timber construction, new construction, roof reconstruction and renovation, both flat and pitched roofs, other construction projects. The company has several projects in Germany and is looking for someone to become a stable part of its German team. So this isn't a short-term job for a few weeks. The goal is a long-term partnership and mutual satisfaction.
As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the timber construction projects entrusted to you. This is an independent position with no direct subordinates. Your responsibilities will mainly include: overseeing the progress of timber construction projects, checking the quality of the work carried out, coordinating individual activities on site, communicating with the various parties involved in the project, working with project and drawing documentation, checking that execution matches the project documentation, resolving everyday situations that arise during execution, communicating in German, ongoing monitoring of work progress. We need someone who can work independently and responsibly. You won't have your own team of employees under you, but you'll be responsible for making sure the entrusted project runs the way it should.
This offer is aimed mainly at an experienced site manager who specialises in, or has significant experience with, timber construction. We require: professional experience in construction, verifiable experience with timber construction, experience leading or managing construction sites, the ability to read project and drawing documentation, technical thinking, independence, responsibility, the ability to resolve situations directly on site. German is a requirement. You mainly need to be able to communicate in technical German. We require German at least at C level. This isn't just about everyday conversation. You need to understand construction terminology and project documentation, and be able to communicate in work situations.
💰 EUR 8,000 per month We offer compensation of EUR 8,000 per month. The exact terms of cooperation will depend on the chosen form – full-time employment or self-employed. 📄 Full-time employment or self-employed (OSVČ) You can choose whichever form of cooperation suits you better. At the start, you can join as a full-time employee or work as a self-employed contractor. With long-term cooperation and mutual satisfaction, after around a year it's possible to move to a German employment contract. 🏠 Paid private accommodation Accommodation is arranged and paid for by the company. And an important detail: You won't be sharing a room with other workers. The accommodation on offer is private, of good quality, and fully furnished, with privacy and the usual comfort for a longer stay. 🚗 Company car You'll have a company car available. A fuel card is also part of the offer. 💶 Option of weekly advances For better financial comfort, weekly advances can be arranged by agreement. 🇩🇪 Option to move to a German employment contract If the cooperation works well long-term and both sides are satisfied, the company offers the option to move to a German employment contract after around a year.
