A stable family-owned construction company based in the Ústí nad Labem Region is looking for someone to join its team in Plzeň as a Quality Controller / Preparation Specialist. Above all, they're looking for a technically minded person who can navigate documentation well, work with technical records, and understands that a well-prepared construction project starts long before anyone shows up on site with materials and tools.
This is a smaller family-owned construction company based in the Ústí nad Labem Region that has been active on the market for a long time. The company focuses mainly on civil and transport engineering and carries out both its own and long-term construction projects. It handles, for example: new construction, property renovations, civil engineering, transport engineering, renovations and other construction projects. For this position, though, what matters most is that we're looking for someone who will provide technical support for the preparation and inspection of construction projects.
In this role, you'll mainly work with technical documents, records, and the preparation of construction work. Your work will be important in making sure individual parts of the project are properly prepared before actual construction begins. You'll mainly be responsible for: processing and checking technical data sheets, working with technical and project documentation, preparing documents for construction execution, checking technological procedures, assessing whether the work carried out matches the project documentation, checking the materials used and their technical parameters, collaborating with site managers and other members of the execution team, preparing and checking quality-related documentation, resolving technical questions that arise during execution, spotting any discrepancies in technical documents. You won't just be "checking paperwork." We need someone who understands what's written in the documentation and can picture how it will actually be carried out on site.
We're looking for a technically minded person with an affinity for construction who can work independently. This could be someone with experience as a: quality controller, construction preparation specialist, technician, construction technician, technical preparation specialist, or a similar position in construction. What matters more to us than your previous job title is what you can actually do. We expect: technical thinking, familiarity with construction documentation, the ability to work with technical data sheets, knowledge of or experience with technological procedures, thoroughness, independence, a responsible approach, the ability to spot technical connections. Previous experience in construction or technical construction preparation is an advantage.
💰 CZK 40,000–50,000 We offer a salary in the range of CZK 40,000 to 50,000 depending on experience and expertise. 📄 Full-time employment or self-employed (OSVČ) You can work with us as a full-time employee or as a self-employed contractor. 🏗️ Work on real construction projects You won't just be working with theoretical assignments.
